(re-edit with pictures from the day) Pacific halibut caught off the coast of Pacific City, Oregon in August of 2009. I had to let it go since the season was closed, but I'll be back out there next year! It ended up being 30-35 lbs. and thankfully, it still had plenty of spunk left when I let it go.
